About us
Named after Mead (ferment of honey) is thought to be the oldest alcoholic beverages known to man, Şatomet Boutique Wines Company produces its grape varieties as Bornova Muscat, Mourvèdre, Cabarnet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Viogner, Black Muscat, on a calcareous rich soil. All of the varieties are “Night Harvesting” which protects the aromas and delay the fermentation process.Ensuring quality and safety standards both at the vineyard and during the traditional production process (as manuel pressing, transfering with gravity), MMG Winery is producing aprox. 25.000-bottles a year. Inside the MMG Estate, you can find ŞatoInn Restaurant with a panoramic view of the valley and that can accomodate up to 60 guests for a seated meals or 300 guests for a strolling reception.
The MMG Winery is 49-Km from Adnan Menderes International Airport and 12-Km from Urla Town Center. It is also located on the main dual carriageway (small divided highway) to House of Virgin Mary and Ephesus from Urla/Izmir
