About us

A small, estate winery in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley.  We grow twelve different varieties of grapes and make wine in an 'old-world,' non-interventionist style.

History

Our family has been farming this property for four generations... and in this community for over 120 years.

Vineyard & Terroir

The Willamette Valley is a cool climate AVA, so we focus on varietals like:  Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris.  Much of our estate vineyard is planted in a dry creek bed... so think large stones and sand.

Winemaking & Aging

We follow a simple, hands-off philosophy in the winery, allowing the grapes to speak for themselves.  Our Pinot Noir rests, in neutral French oak, for at least two years before bottling.
