2015 was an excellent vintage. Higher than average Winter rainfall and a warm steady growing season ensured the highest quality fruit was delivered to the winery. The Adelaide Hills’ cool climate produces some of the finest Pinot Gris in Australia. The fruit for our 2015 Pinot Gris is harvested in the middle of the night from Block K at Schoenthal. This block is 450m above sea level ensuring a cold, long, ripening period perfect for acid development and fruit intensity. The 2015 Clover Pinot Gris shows exceptional varietal definition showing intense Spring flowers, Granny Smith apple, Nashi pears and a touch of white pepper. The lees work gives creamy mid palate and a citrus zing. Enjoy chilled with seafood, pork dishes and good friends. Winemaker: Tom Northcott
