The Picnic Cabernet Shiraz is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Shiraz and 20% Cabernet Franc. This medium bodied red is 100% estate grown from the warm Howard Vineyard site in Nairne. Rich plums, rhubarb and spice aromas accompany the bright crimson colour. The balanced palate is filled with red berries, plums, toasty oak spice and finishes with delightful, soft tannins. This wine showcases the superb blending characteristics of Shiraz and Cabernets, the “Great Australian Red”. A classic pizza, pasta and BBQ wine perfect for a Picnic!
